DISCUSS the film (in comments section below):
- What you saw is the first chapter of this film - what do you think may happen next?
- Julius approaches OCD in a stylized and theatrical way: how effective is this approach in the portrayal of the subject?
This film is a wonderful exploration of intrusive thoughts and the compulsions they may cause. I've never seen this topic explored in such an original way and I found it both beautiful and moving.
ReplyDeleteI understand the the film would be presented on different screens, I would love to see that version too.
Thank you for a great experience

A fantastic journey through obsessions and compulsions. It's great to see OCD depicted in ways other than the usual hand-washing stereotype - also great to see that a team of psychiatrists has been involved in the conception of this piece. The performances are great and it's good to see some humour too. Love the imagery and the music. I checked Elastic Theatre's website and I hope they're planning to tour soon as the productions look really fascinating.
